Rawiri Paratene - Te Keepa Rangihiwinui
Thirty years in the entertainment industry has seen Rawiri Paratene win acclaim as an actor, writer, director, producer and tutor in Theatre, Television, Radio and Film. His profile has gained international notoriety with the release of 'Whale Rider' in which he plays the male lead, Koro. Rawiri is one of New Zealand's most well known actors renowned for his versatility. Many New Zealanders in their 20's and 30's grew to know and love him as a 'Playschool' presenter.
They continued to enjoy him in many comedy roles especially from the five series of award winning skitcom 'Issues'. A more mature audience know him as a pioneer in our professional theatre scene. More recently he is recognised as Joe Hudson from New Zealand's number one soap 'Shortland Street' or as the heavily tattooed Mulla from the sequel to 'Once were Warriors' - 'What Becomes of the Broken Hearted'.

Peter Hambleton - Dr Walter Buller
One of New Zealand's most skilled and busiest actors, Peter has won acclaim for his performances over the last twenty years, particularly at Downstage and Circa Theatres, where he has created over fifty characters. He has won Chapmann Tripp awards for Best Supporting Actor, Best Actor, and Outstanding performance over the last five years.
In 2005 he gave powerful performances in Bright Star and Democracy and directed a hilarious production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, all at Circa. He has worked extensively in film, television and radio, and in 2002 attended a month long intensive Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
